MEET BROTHER PAT
"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28

Bro. Pat Riley
Bro. Pat and his wife, Debbie, joined the ministry staff of First Baptist Church in September 2017. In July 2018 the church voted to call Bro. Pat as their pastor.
With a pastor's heart and passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Bro. Pat comes to First Baptist Church Lometa with 38 years of pastoral experience. He began in pastoral ministry at Pecan Grove Baptist Church in San Saba, Texas. He pastored the First Baptist Church of Farwell and the First Baptist Church, Eunice, New Mexico before he began a 13 year ministry as Senior Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church, Brownfield, Texas. In 2002, Bro. Pat was called to the Calvary Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas and in 2004 as senior pastor for the First Baptist Church, Cisco, Texas
Bro. Pat and Debbie married in 1973 and have 3 grown children, Amanda (Richards), Kyle, and Deidre (Hood). Seven granddaughters and one great-granddaughter make for a lively home on their ranch in Zephyr, Texas.
Debbie, a retired math teacher, mom, and wonderful pastor's wife currently serves on the Praise and Worship Team at First Baptist Church Lometa.
Bro. Pat has a passion for people and a unique perspective into human pain and suffering. Ministering in hospitals, nursing homes, and through personal interactions with the hurting and grieving, Bro. Pat has witnessed God's grace and strength at work in the lives of people. When Debbie began her journey in chronic pancreatitis, their ministry and passion grew for hurting people. In 2006, Bro. Pat's battle with autoimmune diseases forced early retirement and disability.
By the grace and on-going healing of the Lord Jesus Christ, Bro. Pat and Debbie are excited to minister today at First Baptist Church Lometa.
"To God be the glory, great things He has done."
